MUSE Watch

To set-up your device, you can refer the User Manual that accompanied your watch or watch the video on how to setup the watch. 

Android:

To set the time on your watch, follow the steps given below:       

1. Go to My device       

2. Click on Set Time       

3. Check the time displayed in the app       

4. Click OK

The time is automatically set on your watch.


To calibrate the watch, you can refer to the User Manual that accompanied your watch or watch the video on how to calibrate your watch 


                                                                                                                                                                                                           

To set-up emergency contact, you can follow the steps given below:    

1. Go to My Profile   

2. Click on Emergency   

3. Enter your emergency contact details and click Save

Your emergency contact is set. You can now long press the top button until you get a vibration to send an SOS SMS and email to your emergency contact. 


.Yes, your watch will show the time even if it's not connected to the phone.
The range of the wireless Bluetooth connection between your phone and your smartwatch can vary greatly depending on the environment. In general, you should have at least 10 meters (or 30 feet) of connectivity.
To restart your watch, long press both the buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds until you feel a vibration.

To reset your watch to factory settings, you need to remove the battery and install it again.

To know how to remove the battery, refer to 'How do I install/replace the watch battery?' section.

Android:

a. Go to My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Remove   

b. Remove the Musefit Device from system Bluetooth settings under paired devices              

c. Go to My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Setup a new device   

d. Connect screen will open. The App scans for devices and you should see a Musefit device    

   i. If not, click on ‘Re-scan’.   

   ii. If you still can’t see any Musefit device, reset the watch by pressing both buttons simultaneously for 2-3 second still you get a vibration. It should show up now.     

   iii. If you still can’t see any Musefit device, please restart your phone and redo the above steps   

e. Upon finding the Musefit device, select the device and click on Connect   

f. You will go through calibration process and upon completing it the device setup is complete 

iOS:             

a. Go to My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Remove   

b. Clear App Data. You will automatically be logged out of the App   

c. Login to your account. Please check that the My Profile Devices section is empty. Click on setup new device.   

d. Connect screen will open. The App scans for devices and you should see a Musefit device      

   i. If not, click on ‘Re-scan’.     

   ii. If you still can’t see the Musefit device, reset the watch by pressing both buttons simultaneously for 2-3 second still you get a vibration. It should show up now.    

   iii. If you still can’t see any Musefit device, please restart your phone and redo the above steps   

e. Upon finding the Musefit device, select the device and click on Connect   

f. You will go through calibration process and upon completing it the device setup is complete

The watch should be connected to your phone.

To check if you watch is properly bonded to the phone, please follow the steps given below:

Android:

   1. Go to device Bluetooth settings

   2. Under available devices, beside Musefit, you should see 'connected' and at the top of your screen, you will see  or . If you see only the Bluetooth symbol without the dots or arrows, it's not paired  properly. Please turn off your phone Bluetooth for 4-5 seconds and try pairing again.

 If it still doesn't work, long press both buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds to restart the watch and try again. 

iOS:

   1. Go to device Bluetooth settings

   2. Under available devices, you should see 'Connected (i)' beside Musefit. If it's showing only 'Connected' without the '(i)', then it's not properly bonded. Check out this video to help you properly pair the watch to your phone.



 

The Bluetooth connectivity may have been inert for quite some time. 

Turn off the phone Bluetooth for 4-5 seconds, turn it back on and then try connecting again.

If it still doesn't work, long press both buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds until you feel a vibration to restart the watch and try again.

Still not working? 

Android:

  1. Remove the Musefit device from system Bluetooth settings under paired devices.

  2. Go to the app, My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Connect

iOS:

  1. Remove the Musefit device from system Bluetooth settings under paired devices.

  2. Go to the app, My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Pair

If you are still not connected, please perform a clean reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.

Android and iOS:

Long press both buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds until you feel a vibration to restart the watch. Now the watch should be visible in phone Bluetooth settings. 

If it still doesn't work, turn off the phone Bluetooth for 4-5 seconds and turn it back on and check the available devices in phone Bluetooth settings. 

Still not working? Restart your phone and try again.



If the watch is already paired to your phone, then in the app, go to My profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Connect


If you are connecting for the first time, please refer to the 'How to setup new watch?' section.



If you are a new user, please refer to the 'How to setup new watch?' section. If not, please proceed with the following steps.

Press and hold both buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds until you feel a vibration to restart the watch and try connecting the app again. It should work now.

Still not working?

Android:

Check if the Bluetooth symbol on the top of your screen is like this . or like this .. If yes, proceed with the following steps. If not, please skip to step 2.

       1.       Reconnect the app:

-          Remove the Musefit Device from system Bluetooth settings under paired devices

-          Go to My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> connect

Your watch should be connected now. 

       2.       If it's still not working, perform clean Reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.


iOS:

Turn off your system Bluetooth for 4-5 seconds and try connecting again. 

If that doesn't work:

      1.       Check the connection:

a. Check if the watch is 'Connected (i)' in Bluetooth settings

b. If it is simply connected without (i) symbol, it means it isn’t bonded properly. Watch this video on how to pair the watch properly.      


              c. Then, go to My Profile -> Devices -> more options -> connect

      2.       Still not working? Perform clean reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.


The watch should be connected to your phone.

Android: 

Follow the steps given below to connect the watch again to the App in your new phone:

    - Go to My Profile -> Devices -> Your Device ID -> More Options -> Remove

    - Log out of the old phone

    - Remove ‘Musefit’ from Phone Bluetooth Settings under paired devices.

    - Log onto the new phone

    - Go to My Profile -> Devices -> Your Device ID -> More Options -> Connect

    - In case the Devices section is empty, you can Setup a New Device


iOS:

Follow the steps given below to connect the watch again to the App in your new phone:   

    - Go to My Profile -> Devices -> Your Device ID -> More Options -> Unpair

    - Log out of the old phone

    - Remove ‘Musefit’ from Phone Bluetooth Settings under paired devices.

    - Log onto the new phone

    - Go to My Profile -> Devices -> Your Device ID -> More Options -> Pair

    - In case the Devices section is empty, you can Setup a New Device

Android:

Check if the phone is in power saving mode. If the power saving mode is ON, the app doesn’t run in the background, which is a prerequisite for uninterrupted connectivity.

If the phone is not in power saving mode, please proceed to the following steps to perform a clean reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.

This should ensure a stable connection.

iOS:

Check if the phone is in power saving mode. If the power saving mode is ON, the background processes are restricted which may result in an unstable connection.

       If the phone is not in power saving mode, please proceed to the following steps to perform a clean reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.

This should ensure a stable connection.

Yes, the watch should be connected to the phone and the app to sync the watch data to the app.
Muse watch batteries are designed to have a battery life of 12 months.

To check the battery level of your watch, go to My devices. Under Battery you will see an indication of the battery level.


Please visit your watchmaker to install or replace the watch battery.

You can visit your watch maker to get your battery replaced or you can reach out to us to avail batteries for your watch.

Please visit your watchmaker to remove or close the watch back plate.

Yes, Muse watches track and record your sleep data. You can view your sleep data in the app home screen.

Secondary Time Zone is a feature that lets you switch between your current time zone and a set secondary time zone with just the click of a button (Bottom button).

When the bottom button is pressed, the hands toggle to show your second time zone. To switch back to your current time, just press the bottom button again.

Caller ID notifies you about the group of the caller. You can add your contacts under 3 groups in the app. 

Make sure you have given all permissions requested by the app during startup. To grant permission now, 

Android:

   1. Go to settings, click on Apps.

   2. Tap on Muse Health app

   3. Touch permissions and enable all the permissions.

Note: This process may vary from device to device.

If you have granted all the permissions, then add the contacts in the app, refer 'How to setup Caller ID?'

iOS:

   1. Open the settings app and scroll down to the list of apps.

   2. Tap Muse Health app and you'll see the permissions it wants.

   3. Enable all the permissions

Note: This process may vary from device to device.

If you have granted the permissions, please check if your watch is properly bonded to your phone, refer 'How do I check if my watch is properly bonded to my phone?' section.

Smart alarm is a unique feature where you set a time interval between which you want to be woken up. Within the set time interval, the watch vibrates when you are restless, to wake you.

The UV Index is a combination of UV Sensor in the watch and UV Data from the server. So the reading that you receive in your watch when you are indoor, is the measure of UV outdoors, at your location, within that time frame.

Watch triggers UV readings every 1 hour from 10 AM - 4 PM and gives UV alerts in the watch by pointing to a symbol on the top right of the chrono dial.

To ensure you receive the UV alerts, turn it on from the My Device page.

Watch buttons are configured to perform various functions like control music, calls, switch to secondary time zone, SOS alert among other functions. To know more about the button functions, go to My device and click on Button Controls.

The watch button functions are not customizable as of now. We are working to integrate the feature soon. Once we have enabled the feature, we will notify you with an update.

Upon detecting inactivity for more than 55 minutes, the watch vibrates to give an Inactivity Alert. The notification window shows the “Steps” icon to notify the user of inactivity alert. You can enable and disable the alert from the My Device page.

When the forgot phone feature is turned on, the watch vibrates when you move out of the range of the phone to remind you to take your phone. You can enable and disable the alert from My Device page.

Android:

Please check if the Bluetooth symbol is like this  or  at the top of your mobile screen. If yes, please proceed with the following step. If no, please click on the Musefit device in the system Bluetooth settings to connect and then proceed.

1. Check the connectivity:

- Go to your app -> Profile (Click on the icon, at top right corner on your home).

- Check if the My Device screen shows disconnected

         a. If so, go to My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Connect

2. If it still doesn’t work, try resetting the watch:

- Press and hold both the buttons of the watch for 2 – 3 seconds until you feel a vibration.

- Proceed as in step 1 (Go to My Profile -> Devices -> More Options -> Connect)

Your watch should be connected to your phone.

3. Still not working? Perform a clean reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.

The watch should be connected to your phone.

iOS: 

        1.       Reset the watch

                       - Press and hold both buttons on the watch simultaneously for 2-3 seconds till you get a vibration.

                 - The button control should work now

        2.       Still not working? Check Bluetooth connection:

a. Check if the watch is 'Connected (i)' in Bluetooth settings

b. If it is simply connected without (i) symbol, it means it isn’t bonded properly. Please follow instructions as per this video to properly pair your watch to your phone.


 

                     

     Your watch should now be connected. If not please turn off the Bluetooth for 4-5 seconds and then proceed.

        3.       If it still doesn’t work, perform a clean reset. Refer 'How do I clean reset my watch?' section.

The watch should be connected to your phone.

Find My Phone helps you find your phone when you have misplaced it and cannot find it. To activate this feature, long press the bottom button of your watch and your phone will start ringing and the notification window will show 'search' icon. To stop the ringing, you can press the top button of the watch and the notification window comes back to Muse symbol.

Muse watches track steps and sleep and is available to you to compare your data recorded over a period of time. In addition, you can log 36 activities like swimming, squash, yoga among many, manually. The watch is also configured to detect inactivity for over 55 minutes and alert you with a vibration.

To set goal in the app, go to My Profile and click on the goal you want to set and click save.

To update your weight, go to My Profile and tap on your name. Click on edit and update your height and weight and touch save.

To update your step goal, go to My Profile and under Goals, click on Stay Active and update the count and click save.

To view your activity history in the app, click on the activity card from the home screen. 

To log an activity, 

   1. Click on the bot on home screen

   2. Click on the '@' 

   3. Click on Log Activity

   4. Enter the activity details and click save.

We take pride in informing you that the step count on MUSE Wearables devices is accurate in a sense that it avoids tracking random movements and provides you a much more precise result. Our tracking sensors are configured to sense activities like walking or running when performed in a streamlined manner without any random movements to provide you a more exact outcome.

If you wear your watch to sleep, it can automatically track when you fall asleep, duration of sleep, duration of restless sleep, and when you wake up. You can compare the data with your previous data to know your quality of sleep and try to optimize it.

To view your sleep history, click on the Sleep card on the home screen.

Make sure you have been through sleep onboarding to set-up your goals to track.

You may set the goals by checking 'How to set goal in the app?' section in case you dismissed them when first setting up your device. 

Next, ensure the watch is connected to the app. To sync, open the app home screen and pull down to start the syncing process.


After you've done this, the sleep data will be recorded from the next day.

To ensure you receive notifications, make sure you have given all permissions requested by the app during startup.

Android:

To select the apps you want to receive notifications from, 

   1. Go to My Device and tap on Apps Notifications

   2. Tap on '+' to browse through all the available apps

   3. Selects the apps you want to receive notifications from

   4. When done, click save.


iOS:

To select the apps you want to receive notifications from,

   1. Go to My Device and tap on Apps Notifications

   2. Tap on the apps you want to receive notifications, from the available apps.

   3. When done, click save.

   1. Go to settings, click on Apps.

   2. Tap on Muse Health app

   3. Touch permissions and enable all the permissions.

If you have granted the permissions, enable the Notification toggle on the My Device page.

To disable/enable notifications, go to My Device page and click on the Notification toggle button.


Android:

To ensure you receive call notifications, make sure you have given all permissions requested by the app during startup. To grant permission now, 

   1. Go to settings, click on Apps.

   2. Tap on Muse Health app

   3. Touch permissions and enable Telephone and Call Logs permissions.
