      • 2. Click on Set Time

    • How do I calibrate my watch?

      To calibrate the watch, you can refer to the User Manual that accompanied your watch or watch the video on how to calibrate your watch.

    • How do I set up emergency contacts?

      To set-up emergency contact, you can follow the steps given below:

      • 1. Go to My Profile
      • 2. Click on Emergency
      • 3. Enter your emergency contact details and click Save.
      • 4. You can also enter a custom message to be included as a part of your emergency settings.

      Your emergency contact is set. You can now long-press the top button until you get a vibration to send an SOS SMS and email to your emergency contact.

    • How do I set up/connect my watch?

      • 1. Open the Muse Health App
      • 2. In Today’s tab, click on the watch icon at the top right corner
      • 3. Click on the setup device button
      • 4. In the Device list screen, select Muse Watch
      • 5. Follow the instructions to connect and pair the Muse Watch to your mobile device
      • 6. Select and scan for the Muse Watch device on your app. Once the tracker appears on the screen, select the device, and click connect
      • 7. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile. Hold your mobile close to the band during the connection and pairing process

      • 1. If the watch is already paired to your phone and the app, then in the app, Click on the Watch icon at the top in the Today’s tab -> My Device -> Bluetooth status -> Click on Connect button
      • 2. If it is still disconnected, Long press both buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds until you feel a vibration to restart the watch. Wait for a few seconds and click connect again.

    • Will my watch show time even if it's not connected to the phone?

      Yes, your watch will show the time even if it's not connected to the phone.

    • How far can my watch be from my phone and still be connected?

      The range of the wireless Bluetooth connection between your phone and your smartwatch can vary greatly depending on the environment. In general, you should have at least 10 meters (or 30 feet) of connectivity.

    • How can I restart my watch?

      To restart your watch, long press both the buttons on the watch for 2-3 seconds until you feel a vibration.

    • How do I reset my watch to factory settings?

      To reset your watch to factory settings, you need to remove the battery and install it again. Take the help of your watchmaker to remove and re-install the battery.

    • What is the battery life of the watch?

      The battery life of the Muse Hybrid Smartwatch is warrantied for 12 months.

    • Do I need to connect my watch to my phone to sync data with the app?

      Yes, the watch should be connected to the phone and the app to sync your data from the watch to the app.

    • The time on my watch is not syncing to the time on my phone. What should I do?

      You need to calibrate the watch to set the time correctly on your watch.

      Follow the below steps

      • > On Today’s screen -> Click on the watch icon
      • > Go to My device screen
      • > Go to watch calibration screen
      • > Click the arrow icons to match your watch to the image on screen and follow the instructions

    • What is the 'Secondary Time zone' feature? How does it work?

      Secondary Time Zone is a feature that lets you switch between your current time zone and a set secondary time zone with just the click of a button (Bottom button).

      When the bottom button is pressed, the hands toggle to show you the time in the second time zone. To switch back to your current time, just press the bottom button again. This way, you won't have to keep picking up your phone often and going to the world clock to see the time in the other time zone

    • What is the Caller ID feature and how does it work?

      Caller ID is a unique feature that lets you know who is calling you. You can add contacts under the Work, Home, and Friends categories, and when the contact from Home calls you, the activity meter will point towards II.

    • How does UV alert work?

      The UV Index is a combination of UV Sensor in the watch and UV Data from the server. So the reading that you receive in your watch when you are indoors, is the measure of UV outdoors, at your location, within that time frame.

      Watch triggers UV readings every 1 hour from 10 AM - 4 PM and gives UV alerts in the watch by pointing to a symbol on the top right of the Chrono dial.

      To ensure you receive the UV alerts, turn them on from the My Device page.

      Alternatively, you can also choose to trigger the UV readings manually by going to the Button Customization page and setting a button action for UV alerts.

    • What is an inactivity alert and how does it work?

      Your Muse Hybrid Smartwatch not only records your steps and activities but also detects inactivity and nudges you to take a walk every 55 minutes. If you are sitting idle for more than 55 minutes, the watch vibrates to let you know.

      You can enable and disable the alert from the My Device page.

    • What is forgot phone feature and how does it work?

      When the forgot phone feature is turned on, the watch vibrates when you move out of the range of the phone to remind you to take your phone. This feature will be disabled by default, you can enable it from the My Device page.

    • What is Find My Phone feature and how does it work?

      Find My Phone helps you find your phone when you have misplaced it and cannot find it. To activate this feature, long-press the bottom button of your watch, and your phone will start ringing and the notification window will show the 'search' icon. To stop the ringing, you can press the top button of the watch and the notification window comes back to the Muse symbol.

      You can assign this feature to the button control as per your choice. Refer to the 'How can I change what my watch buttons do?' section.

    • What do my watch buttons do?

      Watch buttons are configured to perform various functions like control music, calls, switch to secondary time zone, SOS alert among other functions. To know more about the button functions, go to My device and click on Button Controls.

      You can do a lot with your watch buttons. Control music on your phone, engage with calls, toggle between secondary and current time zone, send SOS alerts, and much more.

      You can now customize what your watch buttons do.

    • Can my watch track my sleep?

      Yes, Muse watches track and record your sleep data. You can view your sleep data on the app home screen.

      For the watch to accurately track your you need to set up your regular sleep hours for your sleep goal. Click on the profile icon at the top in the Today’s tab -> My Profile -> Under goals go to Mind & Sleep -> Add your sleep hours.

      You can use the data to compare your sleep cycle and optimize your sleeping environment to get a good night's sleep. A good night's sleep can take you a long way into having a great day.

    • What are app Notifications and how does it work?

      In your Muse Health app, you can select the apps from which you want an alert on your watch.

      Now whenever you receive a notification from these apps, you get an alert on your watch too.

    • What are Watch modes and how does it work?

      There are currently three modes available on your watch

      Smartwatch mode: All features and functionalities of the watch are active like activity tracking, notifications, call alerts, other alerts, alarms, music control etc.

      Do Not Disturb mode (DND mode): In this model all the notifications to your watch are turned off. That is you will no longer be receiving any app notifications, call alerts, inactivity/UV alerts.

      Other features like activity tracking, music control, find my phone, SOS, Timezone, etc will still be working. This mode slightly extends your watch battery life.

      Time Only mode: In this mode all the features on your watch are turned and none of the features will work. Your watch starts working like a normal watch without any of the smart functionalities.

    • How to change the watch modes?

      • > Select the mode you want your watch to be in.

    • What type of activity data does my watch track?

      Muse Hybrid Smartwatches can not only track your steps, but it can also identify if you are walking or running. You can also manually log 36 activities like swimming, squash, yoga among many in the Muse Health App.

      It can also track your sleep, so you can assess the quality of your sleep and optimize your sleep environment for a good night's sleep.

      It can also sense your inactivity and nudge you to take a walk every 55 minutes.

    • How do I log activity in the app?

      To log an activity,

      • 1. Click on the Log tab on the home screen
      • 2. Click on Log Activity
      • 3. Enter the activity details and click save.
    • How can I check my step count?

      The activity dial on your watch shows your steps as a %of your step goal. For example, if you set your step goal per day as 10,000 in the app and you have walked 5,000 steps, the hand on your activity dial points to the 50 mark.

      You can also check your steps by opening the app. Whenever you open the app, it automatically syncs the data from your watch and displays the latest steps in the Health data card in the Today’s tab. In some rare cases, this might take a few seconds to refresh.

      Alternatively, you can also go to My Device in the app and click on the sync button to update your latest data.

    • How do I set goals in the app?

      To set a goal in the app, click on the profile icon at the top in the Today’s tab -> My Profile -> Under goals go to Activity -> Add your step goals and click save

    • How do I update my height and weight?

      Height and Weight are key components of many algorithms that are used to calculate different health metrics.

      You can update your data in the Health data tab -> Body Measurements.

    • How can I view my activity history in the app?

      You can check your activity history in the Health data Tab.

    • How do I assemble my Muse Cue?

      Muse Cue is very simple to assemble, follow the below instructions to get your Cue assembled.

      • 1. Insert the charging port side of the Cue tracker into the projection on the circular slot from the front of the wristband.
      • 2. Align the wristband into the groove of the Cue tracker on the charging port side.
      • 3. Press down on the other side with your thumb to push the Cue tracker completely into the slot such that the wristband fits perfectly into the groove.
    • What type of battery does Muse Cue have?

      Muse Cue comes with a Li-Polymer Battery of 90mAH

    • What is the battery life of Muse Cue?

      Muse Cue has a standard battery life of 3-5 days. However, the battery life might fall depending on whether the smart mode is on or off.

    • How do I disassemble my device?

      To disassemble Muse Cue, remove the tracker from your wrist. Hold the band and use your finger to push the tracker up, to pop it off its slot from any side of the band.

    • How to wear my Muse Cue correctly to get the best measurement?

      To get the most accurate and precise measurements, wear the band so that it rests just beside your wrist bone and is snugly fit onto your wrist.

      To start your account on Muse Health App:

      • 3. If you are a new user click on sign up and follow the steps on the screen.
    • Why do I need to give by DOB/weight/height information?

      Muse Cue is a health band that is personalized to each user. Hence your age, weight, and height help the Cue activity algorithms (steps, calories, etc.) to be more accurate.

    • How can I uninstall my app?
      • 1. For ANDROID: To uninstall, go to Muse Health play store page where you will find the ‘uninstall’ option
      • 2. For iOS: To uninstall, go to the Muse Health app store page where you will find the ‘uninstall’ option.
    • How do I log out of the app?

    • Can I pair additional devices to the app?

      Unfortunately, you can have only one device connected and active at any given time.

    • How often do I need to sync my Cue with the app?

      You need to sync your Cue at least every 4-5 days. The Muse Cue has a storage capacity of 5 days for normal usage.

    • How many devices can I pair with the app?

      At any given point in time, you can only pair one device on the app.

    • How do I sync my data from the device to the app?
      • 1. To sync all your health data from Cue to the app, make sure they are connected via Bluetooth.
      • 2. Once connected, on the device page, you can see the sync status and the time at which the last sync happened. If you want to manually sync you can just press the sync button.
      • 3. The app also automatically syncs data from the Muse Cue, whenever the app is opened.
      • 4. The sync might take up to a couple of minutes for the sync depending on the size of the data.
    • I am not able to find my Muse Cue on the scanning screen?
      • 1. If you are unable to find your Muse Cue on the scan screen, there might be a few reasons for it
      • 2. Make sure the Cue is charged and not dead. Plug it into the charging cable [Only for Android]
      • 3. You have given location permission to the app as the app requires this permission to discover Bluetooth devices nearby for some phones.
      • 4. Note: To give permission to the app, you have to go to your mobile settings, select Muse Health App, select permissions, enable the location permission
      • 5. If the cue is already connected to your phone Bluetooth before you set it up
      • 6. If that is the case you have to remove the cue from the system Bluetooth and then proceed with setup. Upon doing this you will see the device on the scan screen.
  • TROUBLESHOOTING
    • I am not able to connect my device, how to reconnect again?
      • 1. To reconnect your Cue to your device, on your app you will find the ‘connect’ option. Click on this button and try reconnecting.
      • 2. If this does not work, then go to the bottom of the screen where you will find the option ‘remove the device’. Next click on ‘set up device’ and select Muse Cue and follow the instructions on the screen to set up the device.
      • 3. If you are unable to find the Cue on the app screen, click on the scan button again to re-scan for the device.
    • My data is not getting synced?

      If your data is not getting synced to your Muse Health app, make sure your internet is switched on and try syncing the data by clicking the sync button on my device page. In some rare cases, it might take a few minutes to sync the data with the app.

    • When connecting in the app shows the bond failed, What to do?

      Clear data for your Muse Health App

      Go to mobile Bluetooth settings and unpair your Muse Cue

      Restart your phone and sign in to the app

    • How does sleep tracking work on Muse Cue?

      The tracker tracks four basic parameters: Time in bed, Actual asleep duration, awake duration, and restless duration.

      The cue recognizes and tracks your sleep when your body is at complete rest. Cue understands this and understands when you are asleep and then starts tracking.

      For accurately tracking your sleep, you can set your goals during when you are most likely to go asleep. Cue uses this information to track your sleep more accurately and eliminates possible false recognitions.

      No, currently Cue does not detect sleep stages like Light, Deep, and REM sleep cycles.

    • Where can I view my sleep history in the app?

      To view your sleep history, go to the Health Data tab in the home screen where you can see a tab called sleep. Click on the tab and you will see your sleep history.
