For the most accurate readings, wear your ring on any finger that feels comfortable, ensuring a snug but not overly tight fit.
- Sensor Placement Matters
The ring has a small raised sensor area inside. This should always face the palm side of your finger.
A quick check: if your palm is facing down on a table, the sensor should be on the table-facing side.
- The Right Fit
The ring should stay in place without rotating freely. If it moves too much, try a different finger.
- Easy Removal Tip:
Instead of pulling it straight off, push from underneath and slide it off gently to avoid unnecessary strain.
Ring One is compatible with devices of IOS 14.0 and above and Android 8.0 and above.
If you misplace your ring or case, don’t worry! You can check its last seen location in the app:
- Open the app and go to Settings
- Navigate to Ring or Case Settings to view the last known location
Note: This feature works only if location permissions and Services are enabled.
If your ring or case is lost, we recommend turning on Lost Mode in the app. This will alert you with a notification and location if someone tries to pair it with their device.
Please email us at support@musewearables.com. Our customer service team will be happy to assist you and reply as soon as possible.

The ring can store your health data for up to 24 hours, so it’s important to sync with the app daily to ensure all your activity, sleep, and vital data are backed up and visible in the app.
Features and Technology
We provide three modes in the app :
1. On-demand Measurements.
You can measure your vitals anytime by tapping the Measure button in the Vitals section of the app.
2. Continuous all-day measurements of Heart Rate, Steps and Calories
3. Continuous tracking during Sleep.
The ring continuously tracks your vitals during sleep, including HRV (Heart Rate Variability), Resting Heart Rate (RHR), Respiratory Rate, and Skin Temperature Deviation.
Yes you can wear Ring One during workouts. Crafted from Grade 2 Titanium and Ceramic Zirconia with a dual-layer coating (PVD + ePVD) and diamond polishing, Ring One offers an elegant, scratch-resistant surface. You can totally wear it for exercises like running, cycling or yoga. However, like every other material, scratches will be caused by aggressive impacts with a material that is harder than your ring. We would suggest that you wear gloves to avoid scratches while working with steel tools.
Ring One water resistant upto 100 meters. That is to say, you don’t have to take it off when you’re washing your hands, taking a shower or even swimming
Ring One can be connected to only one device at once. To connect the ring with another device, first disconnect and do a clean reset using the app and then connect the ring with any other device. The data will be under the corresponding account.
Ring One delivers cuffless blood pressure measurement, a rare feature in smart rings. This is currently in Beta and will undergo further clinical testing to validate accuracy across broader use cases. It uses contextual awareness to identify the ideal moment for on-demand readings. Two optical PPG sensors capture high-quality signals, and advanced algorithms estimate your blood pressure using factors like your height, weight, age, and gender. Note that this is an on-demand feature, not a continuous measurement.
Charging case wirelessly charges the Ring and extends the battery of Ring One to one month. It also comes with the Magic glyph interface which conveys important information at a glance. You can use the interface as a sleep alarm, for guided breathing and much more. You can also use "find my case" feature in the app and play a sound to locate your case easily when nearby.

U.S. Expansion Update:
We’re in advanced partnership discussions with two leading U.S. financial institutions to enable NFC payments through our wearable ecosystem. Our goal is to go live with at least one partner by next quarter, marking our official entry into the U.S. market and ensuring full compliance with local banking standards.
Ring One ensures top-tier payment security by combining hardware and software safeguards straight from the source:
- Tokenization & Secure Storage
- Your card is tokenized in the Muse app; only the secure token, not your actual card details, is sent to and stored in the ring via Bluetooth
- Tokens are stored in the ring’s certified secure element, keeping sensitive details isolated and encrypted from reach
- Global Security Certifications
- The ring chip and OS are platform-certified and support CDCVM, ensuring payments only work when the ring is being worn
- It meets EMVCo Level 1 (NFC performance) and Level 2 (end-to-end payment protocol) standards
- The Muse Wallet backend is fully PCI-DSS compliant, protecting data on their servers.
- Strong Encryption & NFC Engineering
- Payment data is encrypted via hardware-level private keys loaded during manufacturing; only your ring can decrypt it.
- A patented approach using a single NFC antenna supports both charging and payments without interference.
- User-Controlled Security Features
- Wear-dependent activation: Payments are automatically disabled when you remove the ring and re-enable only once it reconnects to your phone via Bluetooth.
Lost Mode: You can instantly disable all stored cards via the app if the ring is lost
Battery and Charging
A full charge takes about 2 to 2.5 hours and typically lasts 5 to 7 days with regular use.
- Fully charge the charging case first.
- Unplug the case once it’s fully charged.
- Place the ring inside the case.
- A white light circling confirms charging has started.
(If it doesn’t appear, press the button on the case once to begin charging)
To keep your ring’s battery healthy and long-lasting, follow these tips:
- Charge regularly
Even if you're not using the ring daily, charge it at least once every 5-7 days to prevent battery degradation. - Avoid overcharging
Once fully charged, avoid keeping the ring or case plugged in for extended periods. - Store it properly
If you’re not using the ring for a while, charge it to around 80%, store it in the charging case, and ensure it gets a periodic charge. - Keep it safe
Long-term inactivity can lead to battery capacity loss, expansion, or circuit issues. Regular use and proper charging help prevent this.
By following these steps, you’ll ensure your ring stays powered and performs at its best!
Troubleshoot
If your ring isn’t charging, try the following steps to get it working again:
1. Check the power connection
Connect the charging case to a power source and look for the orange indicator light.
If you don’t see it, try using a different cable or adapter, then reconnect to ensure proper power flow.
2. Check the ring placement
Place your ring inside the case and check for the white charging light.
If the light doesn’t appear, flip the ring and try placing it again to ensure proper contact with the charging pins.
3. Perform a soft reset
If the issue continues, press and hold the back button for 15 seconds until you hear a beep sound — this will reset the charging case.
After that, place the ring back in the case and check if the light turns on.
If the issue still persists, please reach out to our team at support@musewearables.com and we’ll be happy to assist further.
